BLEEDING HEARTS FOR A COMMON CRIMINAL

  • Mood: excited
  • Music: still hearing my own drummer!

A musical fundraiser extravaganza supporting universal access to information.

Time is an amazing thing.  There just never seems to be enough of it, yet sometimes it seems that things take forever.  Well, time is quickly passing us by and we are into August.  And what has the project been up to you might ask?  Well. . .we previewed the promo video at The Random Thoughts Film Festival on Aug 11th.  I’ve also finished some more applications and now we are working on the first of two fundraisers.

This is going to be sooooo amazing. Sean, our musical director has put together a great show. Here’s the scoop. We have a roster of incredibly talented, mostly local musicians, actors and comedians ready to perform.  The show features music, improv a Descriptive Video Demonstration from Ryerson, and . . .a scene performed from the play!  That’s right.  You can see a sneak preview of Common Criminal.

If you live in the Toronto area and want to have a good time for a good cause, then come on out.  We need your support.

Here’s the line up and it’s incredible!

Featured artists:

Sean Peever, Belladonna, Kirsten Jones, Jeff Cottrill, Rosemary Phelan, The McDales, Lauren Stein and Ottawa singer/songwriter Blake Walters.

Welcome To The Project

  • Mood: Sort of industrius
  • Music: The rhythm of my own drummer!

Hello, and welcome to The Common Criminal Theatre Project.  In this blog I will expound on the inner workings of a theatrical production on a day to day basis.  Though it's a fat chance I'll post here every day.  But if you want to catch all the gossip, intrique and just plain polatics and nuance of a theatre production, than visit the blog to see what we're up to.  Or if you just want to see how it all works, take a read.  Can't guarentee it will be pretty though!

And so it begins.  With a hay and a hoe and a nonni nonni.
